Enthusiastic after my success with the F6 at Wagga Wagga with my photos of the 6029 steam locomotive I travelled to the Temora Aviation Museum with the same camera and two rolls of Portra 800. My main lens was a 300mm f/4D, usually combined with a 1.4x teleconverter. There is no VR with this lens, so I used a monopod wherever possible. The shot below and the single indoor photo were taken on a Sigma 24mm.
I set my exposure compensation to +1 for an effective ISO of 400. Lighting, cropping and sharpening adjustments were made in DxO Photolab. White balance was done in GraphicConverter using the Xe8472 filter.
